Awards for Land Rover innovation

LAND Rover has been awarded two Queen's Awards. The Award for Innovation recognises the revolutionary hill descent control on the Land Rover Freelander and Discovery that automatically slows vehicles on steep off-road descents improving safety and control.

The award for Enterprise for International Trade rewards the company's expansion that sees it export 77% of production to more than 140 markets worldwide. In the last five years exports have doubled to £2.48 billion.
