CAMDEN Corporate has signed a multi-million pound car deal for more than 8,000 vehicles with Avis Rent-a-Car. The specialist corporate division of Camden Motors (Holdings) announced the contract at the show, and hopes are high that the deal will lead to other commercial propositions between the two companies.

Avis Rent-a-Car has been a long-standing buyer of Vauxhall vehicles but the models had previously been supplied by another dealership group. Camden corporate sales director Jeff Peyton-Bruhl's move from MG Rover to the dealership-based group to head Camden Corporate laid the foundation stone for the deal to be struck. He said: 'I dealt with Avis Rent-a-Car for 10 years while at Rover and when I joined Camden it was one of the first accounts I won. The volume could go much higher and I would like to extend it to other manufacturers within the Camden franchise network, not just Vauxhall.
