Kwik-Fit Fleet moves into France and Germany

FLEET fast-fit tyre specialist Kwik-Fit Fleet is moving into Europe with the launch of Speedy Fleet in France and Pitstop Fleet in Germany.

The Ford-owned network plans to have 5,000 centres across Europe by 2005, a significant increase on today's figure of 2,000.

Ron Bambra, director of fleet at Kwik-Fit Group, said: 'Our aim is to more than double in size over the next five years. We want to roll out to increasing numbers of business and company car drivers in Europe the same level of unbeatable service and convenience that have earned Kwik-Fit Fleet 26 national awards since its inception in 1987.'

He also unveiled plans for the Kwik-Fit Group to expand its mobile tyre-fitting operation in France and Germany with the launch of an extra 2,000 vans. (April 2000)
