Top honours for industry chiefs

LEADING figures in the motoring world have been recognised for their hard work in developing the industry in the New Year Honours list.

Among them are John Cushnaghan, managing director of Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK, who receives a CBE for services to the automotive industry, and Nicolette King, managing director of Isuzu Trucks UK, who receives an OBE.

Colin Johnson, plant manager for Ford Motor Company, receives an OBE for services to industry in South Wales, while Ronald James Clare, a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, is given an MBE for services to road safety.

John Edward Ratcliff, chairman, Ratcliff Group, is awarded a CBE for services to road transport.
