THE leasing industry consolidated further this week as Interleasing, which is currently in fourth place in the FN50 league table of the country's largest leasing companies, took control of the contract hire fleet of Saab Finance.

The move, which includes the funded fleet only, increases the firm's size by between 5,000 and 6,000 units to take it to third place in the league table, ahead of Lloyds TSB autolease. LeasePlan remains the largest leasing firm in the country.
