The company, owned by French bank Societe Generale, has chosen the FleetWare contract hire software system produced by International Decision Systems Europe.
The new software will provide a single integrated software suite to replace the separate management and accounting packages that ALD Automotive used in the past.
ALD will use the software for web-based quotations, order processing, contract and termination management and accounting.
ALD also plans to add an 'accident management module' to the suite next year.
ALD Automotive managing director Keith Allen said: 'In particular, ALD wanted to incorporate online quotations to enable all its sale channels, which encompass business services, dealer services and personal contracts, to be able to quote via the internet and handle order processing, contract and asset management and contract terminations.'
He claimed the new software puts the company in a 'market leading position' in the UK.
