New CNG site

SAFEWAY has launched a new CNG refuelling site for vehicles at its depot in Kent at a ceremony attended by Transport Minister John Spellar.

The site, installed and maintained by Esso, will be the largest CNG refuelling site in the UK and will support 40 Safeway vehicles. It is the second of three CNG sites Esso plans to be operating for Safeway by the end of 2002 and the depots will also offer access to other fleet and private vehicles.
