Van in a box aims at owner drivers

RENTAL giant Northgate has launched a new product aimed at owner-driver fleets.

The product is called Van in a Box and enables the owner-driver to get a van and fully comprehensive insurance as one product. The insurance is offered alongside the monthly rental of the van and is based on a monthly premium for monthly cover.

The benefit is that if, for whatever reason, the owner-driver needs to cancel the premium, he is not committed to paying for the remainder of the year. The vehicle rental is also billed on a monthly basis.

The van is rented on Norflex – Northgate's flexible rental product.
