HIGHER-output diesel versions of the MG ZR and ZS models and Rover 25 and 45 are now on sale, after their development was exclusively revealed by Fleet NewsNet in October.
The cars, badged TD 115, use a 111bhp version of the 2.0-litre turbodiesel currently used (an increase of 11bhp), with torque increased from 177lb-ft to 192lb-ft.
With a £500 premium over the standard 100bhp models, prices start at £11,425 on-the- road for the Rover 25 model, £12,595 for the five-door Rover 45, £11,555 for the three-door MG ZR and £13,695 for the five-door MG ZS. Combined fuel consumption ranges from 50.5mpg to 51.5mpg with carbon dioxide emissions of 150g/km.
