THE Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) has undergone an organisational restructure. Ray Holloway heads up a new division comprised of the Petrol Retailers' Association, Independent Garage Division (IGD), Bodyshop (BSD), Health and Safety, MoT and Quality Standards. Bob Hood takes on Quality Standards, with particular attention to working with the Department of Trade and Industry. This role complements his existing position as director of IGD and BSD. Alan Pulham takes on the additional responsibility for the national conciliation team. The legal department now reports to Beryl Walsh Atkins, currently director of Member Services.

  • PETER Dean has been appointed as the new branch manager for Autoglass' Crawley branch. Dean has been with the company for 17 years, previously as manager of its south east coach and bus division. He reports to managing director Ian Carlisle and will oversee the mobile units in the area.

  • EAR Dunlop has appointed Andreas Niegsch as general manager of its UK operations. He is based in Birmingham and replaces Marco Molinari who has left the company to pursue other interests. The position of managing director, held by Molinari, has been eliminated and Niegsch reports to Robin McKnight, managing director of Goodyear Dunlop sales countries, western Europe.

  • KIM Lerche-Thomsen has been appointed as the new chairman of Asset Investment Group, the financed equipment provider. Lerche-Thomsen, a non-executive director at Asset Investment Capital, the principal trading entity of the group was previously with Prudential for more than 27 years, as managing director and subsequently chairman of Prudential Annuities.

  • JO Littlewood has been appointed sales manager at Finax, part of the Bank of Scotland Business Banking, based in Manchester. Littlewood has been with the company for six years and joined as a sales co-ordinator. She now heads up a team of sales staff offering the Finax Direct product.
  • WARRANTY and insurance provider, the Regency Group, has appointed Mark Winter as its new financial director. Winter started his career with British Coal. He later changed course and qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.
