Two fleet rugby team managers have forged ahead in the Fleet News ATS Euromaster Rugby challenge.

Jon Sheeran, a sales consultant, and Maxine Howard, a Business First consultant, both work for ALD Automotive in Bristol. There must be something in the south west air, because both have made the same exceptionally astute team switches recently.

Howard's Heroes, managed by Jon, and Max Power (Maxine's team) opened phase two of the challenge with Worcester (who scored 66 points) only to dump Worcester for Exeter in weeks two and three, then returned to Worcester in the fourth week.

This Mystic Meg prescience has given them a 16-point lead and put them in pole position for the fantasy league title and tickets to see Wales play Italy at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

The ALD Automotive pair are being chased hard, however, with Bob Clarke, a director of Lodge Tyre Co achieving a 13-place rise up the league after the last round of games.
