Pick-ups get a boost

NISSAN and Mazda's pick-up ranges are going through a revamp for the new '02' plate.

Nissan's 4x4 Pick-up range has all-new styling with a corporate grille and reductions in prices of between £721 and £991. The tailgate has been redesigned while changes to engines have improved economy and power.

The 2.5 Di engine produces 28% more power, at 132bhp at 3,600rpm. All four models in the range have high and low gear ranges and come in Standard, King Cab, Double-Cab and the range-topping Navara, a double-cab with extra specification.

Prices start at £12,600 + VAT for the standard cab, rising to £16,100 + VAT for the Navara.

The Mazda B-Series Pick-Up now comes with a Stretch Cab at £14,297.66 and a three-year/ 60,000-mile warranty. The single cab diesel also benefits from a 5bhp increase to 83bhp.
