Mazda link-up

MAZDA has begun production of a new series of four-cylinder petrol engines which are also being used within the Ford group.

The 1.8, 2.0 and 2.3-litre I4 series of engines will be used in the Mazda 6, due on sale in the UK in June. Ford plants in the US, Mexico and Spain are also building the engines.
