NISSAN has revealed prices for its new Primera saloon and estate models which go on sale in March. The range starts with the 1.8S saloon, priced at £14,600 on-the-road, and offering electronic climate control, trip computer, six-inch monochrome central display monitor, hands-free phone capability, ABS with brake assist and electronic brake force distribution.

Upgrading to the 2.0-litre will cost £500, while the estate is an extra £1,000 and a CVT automatic transmission costs an extra £1,300.

SE models include a colour dashboard display monitor, all-round electric windows, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, alloy wheels and rain-sensing windscreen wipers. SVE models add a 7-inch monitor, DVD satellite navigation 17-inch alloys and upgraded audio system, while the range-topping £19,500 T-spec includes leather seats and electronic stability programme, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, intelligent cruise control, xenon headlamps and an electric sunroof. Five-door hatchback models will be available from June and will cost the same as saloon variants.
