Peugeot 307 makes strong auction debut

THE Peugeot 307 has made its BCA debut in a series of special sales during February at Measham, Brighouse, Nottingham and Bridgwater, and achieved an average of 86.6% of list price.

However, other Peugeot models also performed well, with the best results showing 116% of CAP 'clean' for a low-mileage 99V 106 1.1 Zest, 109% for a 00W 206 GTi, and more than 123% for a 99T 306 2.0LX, a 99V 406 1.8 Rapier and a 99T 806 1.9LXDT.

Gareth Foden, Peugeot's manager of used car operations, said: 'This has been an excellent launch programme for the 307, which has established first-class benchmark figures for the model around the country. This underlines the strong retail demand being reported by our dealers.'

Alan Gupwell, sales manager for manufacturer sales at BCA, said: 'We are delighted to have the opportunity to stage this important used market launch for Peugeot. The bidding from Peugeot dealers was very confident, underlining the desirability of the Peugeot product across the model range.
