GMAC announces new vice-president

General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC), the financial services subsidiary of General Motors, has named Neil Buckley as vice-president and chief information officer.

He will be based at High Wycombe, UK, overseeing technology and business process improvements in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Buckley has experience in the financial services industry and was previously at Merrill Lynch where he was director of technology in Tokyo, Japan, and head of Investment Banking Technology in New York.
