A SEARCH has begun for charitable teams from the fleet industry to take part in the second Wooden Spoon Society Alpine Challenge.

Set in the French Alps, weekend challenges will start in May and run throughout June. Fitness testing activities will include canyoning, grass karting, archery and a gruelling hike. Teams will raise cash for Wooden Spoon funds, with a target of £150,000 for the event. A spokesman said: 'It is a competitive weekend and requires a good level of fitness but you do not need to be a triathlete to take part.'
