Hertz clinches B&Q deal

NATIONAL DIY chain B&Q has signed a two-year supply deal with Fleet News Award-winning rental firm Hertz to provide its home delivery fleet.

Under the agreement, every B&Q branch will have two co-branded, long wheel-base high-top vans at about 40 UK warehouses for the next two years.

B&Q will use the vans to offer same-day delivery services seven days a week, starting from £20, with Hertz providing back-up vehicles and breakdown cover.
