Suzuki Dropside bargain

SUZUKI is offering a bargain basement pick-up with the launch of the new Dropside Carry at £6,895 ex-VAT.

The new model is produced in Japan and features a 1.3-litre 16-valve powerplant offering 77bhp at 5,700rpm and 74 lb-ft of torque at 3,000rpm. Payload is 665kg and gross vehicle weight is 1,450kg. Load area is 1,975mm long and 1,410mm wide and there are no wheelarch intrusions.

Safetywise, the Carry has a driver airbag, collapsible steering column and side impact bars, while power steering is standard. Added accessories include tow bars, alloy wheels and foglamps.

Warranty is three-years/60,000-miles.
