'Most luxurious' Maybach ever

DAIMLERCHRYSLER has revealed prices for the most expensive luxury car it has ever produced - the Maybach.

The 'base model' Maybach 57, which is 5.7 metres long, is priced at 310,000 Euros ex-factory, while the Maybach 62 (6.17 metres) will cost 360,000 Euros. Prices do not include tax.

Specification includes reclining rear seats, DVD player, surround sound system, communications system, a fridge and personal liaison managers to offer 'uncompromising standards of customer care'.

The car is powered by a twin turbo V12 engine producing 550bhp and the company anticipates annual UK sales of about 60 Maybachs.
