OFFICE manager Carl Wells is the 750,000th driver to use the Lex One-Call service since its launch in 1997. Lex One-Call assistant team leader Claire Crossley celebrated the milestone by presenting Wells, who works for Manchester-based Premier Paper Products, with a magnum of champagne.

Wells drives a Ford Focus supplied by Lex on contract hire and says he uses the service a couple of times a year. Lex One-Call allows drivers to book their cars in for a service, request collection from any address, organise a free courtesy car and receive confirmation in a single telephone call.
