DAILY rental giant has launched a European Driver's Guide with information on the car rental process and driving tips.

The guide is available through travel agencies or can be downloaded from the internet website http://offers.hertz.com/driveeurope/index.html.

Michael Garcia, Hertz' vice-president for international marketing and sales, said: 'We're pleased to introduce the new European Driver's Guide. Designed to assist with European car rentals, the guide provides step-by-step instructions and in-depth details about renting.

'In addition, the guide takes the customer through the reservation process, including vehicle options and optional coverages, to special driving considerations on the continent.'

Other information includes details about the Hertz European fleet, theft, damage waivers and taxes and fees.
