Phone tariff cash waster

FLEET operators are being warned that their drivers could each be wasting hundreds of pounds a year by not being on the correct mobile phone tariff for their use pattern.

A survey carried out by mobile phone specialist m-viron warned that for fleet operators the bill could run into thousands of pounds a year.

James Lunnon, owner of m-viron, said: 'We analysed the usage patterns of more than a hundred people and it soon became apparent that significant savings could be made for the majority of them, simply by reviewing their tariffs on a regular basis.

'Many of them hadn't even considered this option because it had never been offered to them by their network or their mobile phone supplier.'
