Irish launch for Fusion

FORD has launched its 'Urban Activity Vehicle' (UAV) the Ford Fusion in Ireland.

The car is available in three specification levels and a choice of three new engines – 1.4-litre petrol, 1.4 TDCi common rail diesel or 1.6-litre petrol engine.

The Fusion (pictured below) is designed to fill a gap at the upper end of the small car segment with 'young affluent urban couples a particular target'.

Ford Ireland chairman and managing director Eddie Murphy said: 'Fusion is a uniquely small car package designed for young, mobile families with busy lives.

'It blends the attributes of sports utility vehicles, multi-activity vehicles and small hatchbacks to create a car with a unique character.
