Bigger and more versatile E-class estate

MERCEDES-Benz has taken the wraps off its new E-class estate, with the model boasting greater load-carrying ability than before and a more versatile luggage compartment.

The car is due on sale in the UK in June, nearly a year after the saloon arrived in showrooms, and features a hydraulic tailgate option allowing opening and closing at the touch of a button.

Other features include a movable floor to make loading heavy objects easier, and the car will be available with a range of petrol and diesel engines with improved fuel consumption and emissions over the previous estate.
