A DOG warden team is using a trio of Toyota Hiace vans to carry out its work rounding up strays.
Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council ordered the specially-adapted 280 GS models from the Pinkstones Toyota dealership. The contracts were written by Motiva Vehicle Contracts.
Council spokesman David Beardmore said: 'We were impressed by the Hiace's manoeuvrability, the good all-round vision for the driver and the fact there is more cab space, with room for two passengers.'
