CITROEN has launched a clutchless manual version of the C3, called SensoDrive, which can use steering wheel-mounted paddles to shift through the gears.

Fitted to the 110bhp 1.6-litre car, the SensoDrive costs £200 more than standard manual versions, but can be used as a fully automatic transmission, while offering better fuel economy.

Both the paddles and a gearstick can be used for manual gearchanges. The car, available only in Exclusive trim, is priced at £12,195 on the road.
