FIAT'S new Ulysse MPV will go on sale in February, undercutting its jointly-developed siblings from Peugeot and Citroen by about £1,000 at the lower end of the range.

The entry-level 2.0 Dynamic will cost £17,335 on-the- road, compared with £18,295 for the Citroen C8 2.0 LX and Peugeot 807 2.0 LX. Meanwhile the entry-level Ulysse diesel 2.0 JTD Dynamic is set at £18,735, while the C8 and 807 are £19,795. The Ulysse is also available with a 2.2 JTD common rail diesel engine.

All models come with climate control, deadlocks, seven seats, CD/radio, heated electric door mirrors, ABS and six airbags.
