First test for mini MPVs

THE first of the three-year-old Vauxhall Zafiras reached market just six months ago and most were in poor spec and colours as that was the order of the day when the car was launched.

However, expect more interest from about now because the nicer ones are due any time. Picasso went on UK sale in June 2000, so watch out for an influx of these in a few months. That is when the size of the MPV parc will really become noticeable. It is only four months away from its third birthday and then the amount of MPVs on the used market will really be noticed. This is when we will get a much clearer picture of the future for used small MPVs.
