VAUXHALL has signed a rental agreement worth £39 million at showroom prices over the next 15 months with Thrifty Car Rental.

The bulk of the vehicles, about 1,250, will be the new Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 LS while it also includes the provision for 650 Zafiras and a smaller number of Omega, Corsa and Astra models. The deal comes just a week after Vauxhall and ANC Rental Corporation announced a giant fleet supply deal worth nearly £1 billion at showroom prices.
