FLEETS are being offered a free three-month trial of a service that promises to slash the cost of third-party insurance claims by up to 50%.

The new service, called First Response is the brainchild of Personal Injury Medical Services (PIMS) and pledges to reduce costs by cutting out the 'middle man'.

PIMS deals direct with the third party, passing details back to the fleet insurer, eliminating the need for credit operators.
