It has published a fact sheet on the latest mobile phone legislation and has also produced a driver safety bag for use in the event of an accident.
The Mobile Phone Safety Fact Sheet explains how company car drivers should use mobile phones while driving and reminds them of impending legislation, which comes into force in December and bans the use of a hand-held mobile phone while driving.
Its driver safety bag includes a torch, incident log, disposable camera, tape measure, crayon and pen to record any essential details.
Lex Vehicle Leasing managing director Jon Walden said: 'We have had so many calls from customers wanting copies of our own mobile phone company car policy, we thought it would be useful to offer fleets a fact sheet, spelling out all the legislative issues and tips on how to address this issue safely.'
