Charging plans

LONDON Mayor Ken Livingstone wants to expand the current congestion charging zone with road pricing on parts of the capital's North Circular and South Circular roads.

He is lobbying to have London's most congested suburbs turned into road pricing initiatives and wants to double the size of the current charging zone, expanding to the west and being dissected by Edgware Road, which would be exempt.
