Logitech personal digital pen

THE Logitech pen writes like an ordinary ballpoint but 'memorises' your writing. When placed in a special cradle, all writing is transferred directly on to a PC. It permanently records all writing including ideas, sketches and notes in digital format.When placed in the cradle it downloads notes to the PC in their original form, with its in-built software automatically styling the writing with headings and lists. Users can write up to 40 pages at a time. The pen is compatible with most computer packages including Microsoft Word, Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft Journal.

    Glowring X2

    THE Glowring X2 enables drivers to see car keys from as far as 30 feet away in complete darkness, so you can find them on the floor, around the house or in the bottom of a bag or briefcase. The firm selling it also suggests the device could be used in an emergency breakdown.
    Each keyring uses a single-sealed glass tube which contains a small amount of active gas that permanently reacts with a phosphorous coating. The light source lasts for up to 10 years according to the maker. Glowring X2 is available in three colours – vibrant pink, cool green or ice blue.

    Driveway Alert

    The Driveway Alert system, placed either at home or in the office, beeps if a thief or intruder is in close proximity to a vehicle.
    The system uses an infra-red detector to sense heat and movement up to 100ft away from a vehicle and can be set when vehicles are in a garage or on a driveway.
    The receiver picks up a radio signal and chimes to alert drivers to a person moving nearby the vehicle. It can also be adapted to protect other areas, such as the garage or garden shed. Four batteries power the cordless device and full instructions are supplied with the system.

    Keysafe

    KEYSAFE claims to prevent car key theft by 'hook or crook.' Its S7 Big Box KeySafe enables drivers to store keys safely in the home, office or car preventing thieves from stealing them. The KeySafe is a large capacity safe which can store a number of keys. It comes with a fixing kit and installation instructions. The safe is operated using a push- button entry code. Drivers enter a key code to open it and the box requires no maintenance or power.

    Reevu helmet

    THE Reevu helmet provides fleet motorcycle riders with a rear-view mirror system which, according to Reevu, protects against accidents.
    The helmet meets all international safety standards and is a similar size and weight to conventional helmets.
    The actual mirror which enables riders to view behind is made of an unbreakable substance which is lighter than glass or metal and is based on the Multiple Reflective Optic System (MROS). The group also offers a rear-view cycle helmet.
