SALES of new commercial vehicles are expected to grow this year despite worrying economic signals and continued pessimism of many in the industry, claims Glass's Information Services.
George Alexander, chief editor of Glass's Guide to Commercial Vehicle Values, said pundits who had predicted a slide in commercial vehicle sales were wrong. Light commercial vehicle sales grew by 5% last year, Alexander added. 'We see little reason to expect anything other than further growth in the overall commercial vehicle market of about 2%.'
