SEAT has sold its one millionth Ibiza in Spain, making it the domestic manufacturer's biggest selling model in the country.

The company said that last year the Ibiza led its segment in the Spanish market with sales of nearly 64,000 units.

The one-millionth car to be sold was a TDI 130 model, with Prades Motor based near Barcelona the dealership responsible for selling it. During a special ceremony at the dealership, SEAT Espana director Juan Baselga said: 'I am happy that the Ibiza is the brand's first model to reach this magical number in Spain and that it has achieved this feat while leading its segment.'
