Ford makes ABS standard on Focus

FORD has started fitting ABS brakes as standard to all new Focus models.

Previously ABS was part of a £500 Reflex Pack – an option on all variants apart from the 2.0-litre petrol and TDCi models. Front side airbags – the other part of the Reflex Pack – will continue to be offered as an option priced at £150.

Meanwhile, the ST170 will also be available as an estate, priced at £17,245 on-the-road, and a special edition Focus MP3 has been launched with an MP3 compatible CD player.

And a 1.4-litre three-door Focus Studio has replaced the Focus Flight, with remote central locking and Quickclear heated windscreen as standard.
