PRICES, specification and options for the BMW Z4 have been confirmed, with the two-seater going on sale in June from £26,650 on-the-road.

The Z4 2.5i produces 192bhp and 181lb-ft of torque, and will cover the 0-62mph dash in seven seconds flat, while the more powerful 231bhp Z4 3.0i takes just 5.9 seconds. Standard features include air conditioning, a CD player, automatically retractable roof with a glass rear screen and electric power steering with computer- controlled feedback.

Manual versions of the Z4 offer combined fuel consumption of 31.7mpg and 31.0mpg for the 2.5 and 3.0 respectively, with carbon dioxide emissions of 216g/km and 221g/km.

Automatic versions are rated at 29.7mpg with CO2 emissions of 231g/km.
