Faster allroad

AUDI has revealed details of the new 4.2-litre V8 allroad model which will go on sale in the UK this summer.

Developing 296bhp and producing 280lb-ft of torque, Audi claims the allroad 4.2 will offer class-leading performance (for V8 SUVs) and fuel economy, accelerating from 0-62mph in 7.2 seconds with a maximum speed of 149mph. Combined fuel consumption is expected to be about 21mpg with carbon dioxide emissions of 331g/km. The car has up to eight inches of ground clearance and is equipped with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. Prices and specification for the UK will be decided closer to its launch.
