COMMERCIAL vehicle specialist LDV has appointed RAC Commercial Vehicle Assistance (RACCA) to handle call centre management services for its breakdown and recovery operation, LDV VANaid.

The new partnership will see LDV's VANaid customer calls routed to a 24-hour, seven days a week commercial vehicle breakdown and recovery service provided by RAC's dedicated call centre based in the West Midlands. LDV chief executive Allan Amey said: 'The tender for call management services was put out to a competitive pitch across the whole of the UK. RAC provided the most competitive offering on two levels – service and cost.'
