Software launch

A NEW software package designed to automate basic fleet management tasks has been launched by cfc solutions.

The software is similar to an electronic organiser and alerts fleet managers to outstanding tasks. This includes a driving licence function, which sends an alert reminding fleet managers to check driving licences on a periodic basis. Alternative functions include a facility to forward maintenance requests to service suppliers.

Jason Francis, managing director of cfc, said: 'Provided fleet managers spend some time and apply a degree of insight to identifying a large number of their day-to-day tasks, huge amounts of workday jobs can be removed from their desktop.'
