Skodas pump up

SKODA'S Octavia range is now available with 'pumpe duse' turbodiesel technology for the first time with a 130bhp 1.9 TDI model.

Priced from £14,990 on-the-road for the hatchback model, the PD Octavia delivers 32% more torque than the high performance Octavia vRS at 229lb-ft.

The engine will be offered in either Elegance or Laurin & Klement trim, with the Elegance model including 16-inch alloy wheels, electric sunroof, four airbags, headlamp washers, centre front arm rest and climate control as standard, while the Laurin & Klement adds different alloys, xenon headlamps, cruise control, heated seats and leather or alcantara among its extra kit.
