A PETERBOROUGH-based courier with a fleet of 22 vans has slashed costs after installing Minorplanet's Vehicle Management Information system.

All Freight Express has seen a 20% reduction in fuel costs and communication bills alongside a reduction in overtime. Malcolm Birch, managing director at All Freight Express, said: 'VMI reduces empty running, which in turn reduces our running costs. We have also improved driver safety by imposing a pre-set driving time limit.'
