Inchcape wins Mini Lease deal

A THREE-year deal to handle the logistics of the Mini Lease fleet operated by Arval PHH has been won by Inchcape Automotive.

The contract to handle 12,000 vehicles a year will cover all aspects of vehicle delivery, collection and refurbishment of vehicles offered under Mini Lease, Arval PHH's flexible rental product.

Inchcape Automotive will use its Inspect and Collect Service, with staff equipped with hand-held terminals. The hand-held terminal is loaded with Inchape's estimation software, so a damage assessment can be carried out as soon as the car is handed back by the hirer.

By using electronic systems, there is no need for paperwork, which avoids errors and costly delays in disposals.
