ALD expansion

ALD Automotive is planning to increase its fleet size to 60,000 vehicles following its purchase of Hertz Lease.

The purchase of Hertz Lease by parent company Societe Generale, completed in February, saw ALD Automotive double its fleet size to 42,000 units, but the company expects to expand further.

Managing director Keith Allen said investments in the business would include maximising the potential of e-business and upgrading key computer systems.
