• CHARLOTTE Greening has been appointed as a new account manager with Pendragon Contracts. Prior to joining the company, she worked in the purchasing department at Lloyds TSB autolease. Before that, she spent two years in sales and marketing for dealer group Johnsons.

  • INNOV8 Technology has recruited a team to launch its new InnVan hand-held IT system. John Tyndall, who earlier set up the VanMan system at FGS, heads up the team. Others behind the launch are Chris Stephens, Nick Vallance and Paul Dunstan. Stephens brings 17 years' experience in the field, Vallance has had worldwide involvement in installation and system integration and Dunstan is a UK hand-held support specialist.

  • VIKAS Sehdeva has been appointed head of dispute resolution with motor industry solicitors Amery-Parkes. Based in its Birmingham office, Sehdeva's team provides advice to businesses on employment, health and safety and commercial disputes under the A-P Fleetlegal banner. The company has strong connections with the AA and specialises in matters relevant to the fleet and motor industry.

  • ABS Bodyshop Services has promoted Ian Douglas to network services manager. He joined the accident solutions company four years ago as an accounts assistant and has been part of the network team for more than two years. His new remit includes bringing new repair centres into the network and central buying initiatives.

  • GAVIN Padgett has joined the Gauntlett Group as motor broking manager. Before joining the risk management company, Padgett worked for a commercial broker in Wakefield.

  • GUY Pearce has joined the Fleet Auction Group (FLAG) as UK sales manager, responsible for the sales team covering car fleets and manufacturers. Prior to joining FLAG, Pearce worked as national sales manager at Manheim. Before that, he ran his own business in Oxford.

  • FORD of Britain has appointed Gary Whittam as its new director of commercial vehicles. In his new role, Whittam takes responsibility for all of Ford's commercial vehicle activities in the UK. He was previously manager, commercial vehicle sales, at Ford of Europe and replaces Steve Parker, who is promoted to the post of director, business development, at the European office. Whittam joined Ford in 1978 as an engineer and techical writer. He reports to sales director Paul Van der Burgh.

  • TYRE wholesaler, Stapletons has appointed Lesley Williams as its first director of HR. She is promoted from her role as the company's HR manager, a post she held for more than three years. She continues to be based at the company's head office at Letchworth.

  • LEX Vehicle Leasing has a new human resource director. Steve Moss takes over from Lucinda Charles Jones who moves to the corporate area of RAC. Moss joins Lex from Hyundai and, before that, worked for Nissan.
