NORFOLK County Services is using a fleet of 12 Renault Clio- vans for its work on maintaining key public services.

The Norfolk County Council-owned business runs services including school and Social Services transport and building maintenance. The 12 3-door Cliovans add to its fleet of Renault Trafic, Master and Kangoo vans.

They have been allocated to its cleaning services department that maintains more than 400 council-operated establishments in Norfolk including libraries, schools and fire stations. Norfolk County Services cleaning services manager David Payne said: 'This fleet of vehicles has been acquired for our cleaning services area supervisors who regularly visit each of the establishments we are contracted to maintain to ensure work is carried out to complete satisfaction.

'The Cliovan was chosen because of the combination of excellent driver comfort and good fuel economy, both essential for our needs as staff can travel up to 200 miles each day.'
