CIVIL engineering company WDM of Bristol has taken on a number of MG and Rover cars in a contract worth £250,000 at showroom prices.

The Bristol-based firm signed the deal for 13 cars, ranging from MG ZT-T estates and MG ZTs, to Rover 45 and 75s. All have consecutive numberplates that end with 'WDM'.

WDM workshop manager Geoff Taylor said: 'We chose the MG and Rover cars because in the past they have been the most reliable of cars, and we also wanted to buy British. Combine these with an excellent dealership, namely AE Wilcox and Son at Wickwar, and we believed we had every corner covered.'
