A NATIONAL gas and electric appliance supplier is replacing its fleet of delivery vans with Citroen Relays. Apollo 2000 has already taken delivery of 15 custom-engineered Relays, with a further four awaiting delivery.

Dave Broughall, Apollo 2000 managing director, said: 'With the Relay, Citroen was able to provide the required optimum combination of low wholelife costs and suitability for purpose. The dealer worked hard to ensure we got the right chassis and body specification for our multi-drop delivery operation.'

The 3.5-tonne 1800 2.8HDI Relays will replace the current Mercedes-Benz Sprinters and are being supplied under a four year HSBC lease.
