Speed checks urged

THE Association of British Drivers (ABD) is urging drivers caught by speed cameras to check the photographic evidence before paying the fine.

It issued the advice following the case of a driver mistakenly fined for speeding when travelling at just 14mph (Fleet NewsNet January 15). An ABD spokesman said: 'Everyone has assumed that the camera partnerships were doing their job properly.'
